We complement existing SAM tools by providing deeper compliance rule analysis (505 rules across 9 publishers) and cross-publisher risk detection that neither Flexera nor ServiceNow offer out of the box.

Your licence data never leaves your browser. All file parsing, cleaning, and compliance analysis runs entirely client-side using WebAssembly and JavaScript. No data is uploaded to any server. The application is hosted on Vercel's edge network (EU region available), but the processing engine is 100% client-side. For Enterprise customers, we offer on-premise deployment for additional assurance.

Yes. The cleaning engine on our homepage processes files for free with no account required. You can upload any IBM ILMT, Microsoft SCCM, Oracle LMS, SAP LMDB, VMware vCenter, or Adobe Admin Console export and see the full compliance analysis immediately. The free tier includes all 505 compliance rules — we don't gate the analysis behind a paywall.

Enterprise customers can request custom compliance rules tailored to their specific licensing agreements, contract terms, or internal policies. For example, if you have a non-standard IBM ELA with specific sub-capacity terms, we can encode those as custom rules. Custom rules are developed by our SAM specialists and deployed within 5 business days.

RavenLI accepts CSV, XLSX, and XLS files. We auto-detect the publisher from the column headers — no manual selection needed. Supported exports include: IBM ILMT (Software Inventory, PVU Sub-Capacity, Computer List, Scan Status), Microsoft SCCM/Intune, Oracle LMS, SAP LMDB, VMware vCenter, and Adobe Admin Console. Multiple files can be uploaded simultaneously for cross-publisher analysis.
